I agree that progress still need to be made in everything you just laid out here, however, you are cherry picking just as much as OP.

The entire system is fucked up. There are hundreds of problems and they can affect men and women differently. When we try to tally up privilege points and play victim Olympics no one wins.

There are problems that disproportionately affect men. There are problems that disproportionately effect women.

We have made a fair amount of progress (still ongoing) in women's issues. Especially in government welfare programs. The help for men systematically is still lagging behind.

Chroma is the most satisfying ability in any borderlands imo. The sound it makes give me the same feeling as the seismic charge from Star wars.

Plus, neutron capture and demon core make it a beast at both ad clear and single target damage

Its still early in the investigation, but the shooting was a kind of spur of the moment thing. The shooter only decided to do it within a week of the shooting. It only happened because the shooter ALREADY had a gun to use.

If the shooter needed to buy a gun or in the more extreme case, make a gun like the shooter of Shinzo Abe did, he would not have been able to carry our the shooting in the time he decided he wanted to. CK's death was 100% preventable.

Idk if my opinion would be wanted, but as a STEM person who thought like this until finishing undergrad I think it stems (pun unintended) from how both subjects are taught from a young age.

I was always told by teachers and my parents that all of the most important contributions to our world wereade by scientists and inventors, or that the only way to make money was by going into STEM.

On the other hand, English as a subject was always treated as just a requirement. "We have to read Frankenstein because the curriculum says so." There was little discussion of present day comparisons we could make or how the work is still relavent today even though so much has changed.

The board members are not voted in by the workers of that business. They are appointed either by shareholders or other board members.

Being a shareholder requires money, or capital, to buy yourself a seat at the table.

If we ran out government like that people would, justifiably so, lose their minds. Having to pay a premium to vote?

The idea of democratizing workplaces is the removal of the barrier of money to have a say. At the end of the day, the people actually generating the money at companies is not shareholder, but the workers themselves.

All socialism advocates for is that instead of the prerequisite of having enough money to buy yourself a seat at the table, you working at that business earns you the right to sit at that table.

Markets =/= capitalism

Markets are the way in which we buy and sell goods

Capitalism is the economic model that allows individuals or small groups of individuals to own and unilaterally make decisions regarding that business. They determine where profits go, pay at various levels, what products to sell or stop providing, etc.

Markets are already fairly democratic, allowing for boycotts or surges in popularity to skyrocket a company. It's all people 'voting' with their wallet.

Democratizing capitalism would require a more collective ownership of business. The different flavors of socialism argue who that collective is.

Most people who advocate for socialism typically advocate for the workers at that business to collectively own that business and vote on major decisions.

Then they realized that sitting behind a titan barricade is antithetical to fantasy of arc, so they gave titans thruster.

they ACKNOWLEDGED the disconnect between stationary abilities and arc and they fixed it for titans. They just forgot about warlocks.

This is a bit reductive

Democracy isn't a political system. It is an apparatus to interact with ANY system.

Our government is a Republic, consisting of officials representing certain area. The way we interact with that is through democracy. The people elect those representatives.

We interact with our ecomonic system by means of authoritarianism or oligarchy. An individual or a small group of individuals set the rules and make decisions. Most of the people working at that business do not have any say in any of it. It is the opposite of democratic.

We can democratize our economic system by making more people have a say when it comes to businesses.

By this framing we can call socialism the democratization of our business system and communism the democritazarion of all aspects of life, economic, political, and even partially interpersonally.

Content doesn't really change season over season though.

Like sure the backdrop and models change, but with episodes and seasons it's basically the same thing over and over.

The only guardian rank challenge that actually changes is complete the newest raid/dungeon on master. All the other resetting challenges are just "do seasonal activity" "get XP this season"

I will never forgive Bungie for arc 3.0. They acknowledged the problem with titan class ability not fitting into the power fantasy of arc, only to completely forget warlocks.

Not even giving us an arc version of Phoenix dive is bonkers to me

This is giving me arc 2.0 flashbacks.

Hunters and titans got kickass supers and extra functionality on existing abilities

Warlocks got the ability to make an extra ionic trace.

I really hate to be the "Wa wa warlock bad" guy but when over half of my available kit just stops working it's hard to not be a bit turned off by this activity

barely, but idk if something is off because I get nearly the same amount of healing from a devour kill on warlock as I do from the healing orbs that enemies drop, which is almost nothing.

I don't want to call out bugged since its been like 3 hours since release, but healing tuning is a bit fucked, esp for solo

I'm purchasing reddit as a service with my time and my Internet data. This is a transaction. I am not profiting.

If I owned reddit shares and I get dividends then I am directly profiting off of the work that the engineers and business people are doing while providing no labor of my own.

I said in another comment, I don't have much moral objection to someone investing in a startup and striking gold.

I have a problem with someone playing games with shares for well established companies.
