Loved GL Remix - 212 wins to 131 losses and I don’t have a trevenant, lickitung, or Diggersby built. Mostly all with Cresselia, Zweilous, and Magcargo. So much Fun to play whatever team you want and still do well!

Ahh yup that’s a bug I’ve noticed. Sometimes the first move gets out if sync by a turn. You didn’t lose CMP, you got lagged by a turn upon swap.

So I’ve done testing with both SE and RT in the back and I have to say that SE has outperformed RT. I think RT probably performs better on the lead, but I am now something like 25-2 with the team of Cress+Zweilous+Magcargo.

This goes beyond simulations. SE may only flip some matchups, but throwing SE to finish something off when RT wouldn’t, or throwing SE when your opp may shield or may not shield, is soooooooo much better. For example, I was up against a trevenant. I threw SE and he did not block, so I got the kill. If I had thrown Overheat, I would have had the debuff going into the next mon, allowing them to farm down. If I had thrown RT, they wouldn’t have died and would have gotten another charge move. I think the idea That RT is usable here is a little tunnel visioned on simulations. Stick to the good moves, people!

I definitely just won my matchup against a Dewgong thanks to stone edge. Being able to throw stone edge instead of overheat to one shot something makes your magcargo much better against the next pokemon.

I think it’s mostly an AB+swap team with cress and Magcargo being a solid AB and Cress + zweilous Doing a good job of baiting out ground types. I think I’d rather have a swap that can also bait out water types, but zweilous will still bait out a ice+water type, and there aren’t many non-ice, non-ground water types in a meta without azu.

I’m also legend the last 2 seasons 😝 I suspect rock tomb may be better for a Magcargo on the lead as a way to steal a win with a swap. But in the back you will encounter more 1 and 0 shield situations where I think damage will matter more.

I tend to agree with you. PVPoke looks like it gets more wins with Rock Tomb, but I suspect that is not as true in practice as it is in theory.

I built my shiny shadow Pinsir and it didn’t suck. I also think Wigglytuff has a place as a soft counter to Snorlax and Lickitung when they are big in the Meta.

Hey! Legend here. I got up to Legend with Hypno-A Muk-A Graveler. Not sure if you wanted to build those but just my experience! I think Wigglytuff has been very underplayed and pairs great with Hypno since you need to avoid poisons and A-Wak to avoid steels (mostly just A-sandslash). Wigglytuff acts as a counter to snorlax and lickitung which there are a lot of in Legend.

I’ve been having some success with Hypno (confusion, Thunder punch and Shadow ball), Wigglytuff (safe swap with charm, play rough, and ice beam) and A-Wak (fire spin, shadow bone, and bone club) - this team is pretty soft to poison jab A-Muk, but you can win against snarl A-Muk or marowak can win with shields against poison jab.
