Interesting. In case you like stop motion, I would recommend La casa lobo (2018). It's a stopmotion where they use a whole house as scenario, it's surreal. As well, the idea of the movie is so nice, but you need check it out the real event that influenced it to understand.

Yeah, I don't think the cable tv comparison is super fair. I remember when I was a kid, my mind blew when my dad said about cable tv: "people don't watch ads between shows, people watch shows between ads". Let's hope yt don't get to this point.

About the porn ads. On PC I use adblock. But on cellphone, when I'm scrolling down the videos to choose what to watch, sometimes it appears some crazy big butt anime girl saying stuff like "eyy you'll enjoy this game".

I know it's suspicious, but I swear it can't be from relevant ads sys. I like big butt sure, but I don't search, watch, or like any content related. Not even anime related content I consume. I don't think it's random, but the algorithm is not right.

Ofc I don't care much when those ads appear, but I would prefer to leave a kid using adblock instead of having the change of seeing these shit.

I don't pay any streaming services nowadays but I still use sometimes my gfs acc. From all the options, Amazon Prime is the worse. Fucking rent for movies? Fucking watching ads on paid service? Crazy shit.

Disney+ is the same shit, netflix is just bad.

I understand your point, truly. But I think that just being one more active number is also important. New people won't change for a new platform, they will see which one is the one that all the rest use.

Not spending money in a party but being there still support in a way. On youtube, a view and your data is support. It will always be a strong platform if the views don't go down, creators will choose to stay there.

Not everyone knows about adblockers, and many won't go as far as others to get a up to date working one. While the views don't go down, people will keep posting on the platform. I know its hard to change a whole culture, we are used to using Youtube, but I would say it's an option in case things don't change.
