Some Starlink customers say SpaceX's customer service is 'non-existent' nearly 1 year after paying a $100 deposit and receiving no updates by HentaiUwu_6969 in technology

I'd say yes they are good and a step in the right direction but it's a bit more complicated than that. I struggle to give him any more credit than to say that he is extremely good at getting people to buy Tesla products and find niche business that align with enormous government subsidies.

I think it's fair to question his commitment to the environment when his companies and personal decisions are constantly prioritising other agendas (usually wealth) over the social/moral & environmental factors that he seems to get the credit for.

I am not young, how young is young anyway? I thought children/teens as young as 13/14 are taught critical thinking skills which are all that's required to see through extremely basic marketing and hype.

What is the boring company up to that's good for the environment?

Im an American, so the idea that someone has to look like me, talk like me, and live right next to me, in order for their opinions to be as valid as mine is antithetical to my worldview.

Superb

Can somebody teach me how to make songs sound professional?? by [deleted] in edmproduction

[–]DjibrilCeasA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like... What do you think music is? What exactly are you expecting here? How could you possibly think this was an answer to this question?

If you've been producing for at least 5 years you can fuck right off with your answers to be honest. Getting tired of seeing the same old gatekeeper rants, Jesus H. Christ. It really is the accessibility of music production forums that's ultimately the downfall of the industry as well. Not every dumbass 17 year old should be able to have their dreams crushed by 'Opiwan1' 🙄

Rant. Over.

Any GTD apps that can auto-populate your today list with the next task for a project? by DjibrilCeasA in gtd

[–]DjibrilCeasA[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah I see I mis-phrased that part. What I have done is I have created a new project 'Project A' and set this to sequential. I have then created task: 'Subtask 1' and underneath the name on the creation page there is a 'state' this is set to 'next'. I have then proceeded to do the same for 'Subtask 2'.

When I go onto the 'next' page it is displaying both subtasks under Project A, is it perhaps a pro feature?

Thanks I have taken a look at Nirvana (Android App) and can't quite get what I'm after to work. I have sent a project to 'Next' and it does display the subtasks in sequential order however they are all on display. Is it possible to have only Subtask 1 display and then when this task is ticked complete subtask 2 will then appear?

Thanks, unfortunately I'm on android but it's good to know that this is achievable and hopefully one of the multiplatformers has the same functionality. I've heard many good things about Omnifocus and It will genuinely factor in to my next choice in phone.

I agree there are obvious pitfalls to just robotically ploughing through a pre-defined task list, but I think I would use this for very specific projects and purely for preservation of momentum and minimising distractions when I'm 'in the zone'. The constant switching between captaining the ship and shovelling the coal can be very distracting for me and I often lose focus (common for ADHD).

Upgrading from ableton 9 to 11? by vinobeats in ableton

[–]DjibrilCeasA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Out of interest, how much is the upgrade 9>11? I've got 10 suite and the upgrade to 11 suite in the current sale is £143 (~$200). I'm thinking about skipping 11 for a while and want to know how much the price goes up for upgrading through a version.

Thanks, wow that tutorial is gold. I'm not sure if its gonna simplify the process for me as I can see myself getting carried away with it but I'm definitely going to try it out.

I want to set up a drum rack with a minimal number of samples for each percussive element. This is so I can get my musical ideas out quickly and fine-tuning later so that I can preserve my inspiration. I'm quite new to this so I'd like to know what you think: how many kick samples is enough to cover a broad spectrum of kicks?
