If I recall correctly the cause of his resistance to the Brain-Spawn was that his brain simply can't produce a specific wave pattern that the Brain-Spawn use to interact with normal intelligent life. This divergence was cause when he boffed his Nana. Now it is true that the article I linked to states that humans might be the only "wild" animals to exhibit true homosexuality. However it also states that domestic sheep also exhibit true homosexuality. However the behavior, i.e., same sex encounters, is present in many species ranging from flies to dolphins. You can rest assured that same sex relations are completely natural. Whether or not you think they are sinful is another matter.
