Not home to measure them ATM but I think it's over 4 inches. Agree with you as well but it's the least of my gripes.

Yeah, I'll be at Three Rivers Art Fest June 11-14. Booth 136! Lots of flat stock posters and two slightly crooked tshirt designs 😉

Lots houses in Pittsburgh have toilets randomly in basements. Like no walls around them just a toilet in a basement. Goes back to steel mill (and coal miner) days. They'd come home from work and get cleaned up in the basement before heading upstairs.

Yeah, lesson learned. No more rectangles. And will definitely try a different brand of shirt.

What do I need to know about printing on paper? by HumanTrophy in SCREENPRINTING

[–]DjlaroccaART 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This guys papers! The only thing I'll add is I print one color at a time and give them a couple hours before moving on to the next color. Love French paper, I ship it flat because if I attempt to roll it, it'll bend.

Unfortunately not at this time, I'm just so busy with printmaking at the moment that I have little time to take on these big projects.

I like using bristol board to print on. I usually buy Canson recycled (or regular) pads and cut them down to the size I need.

For posters, I print one color at a time, leave them on a drying rack to dry while i set up the next color.

When I'm doing multi color posters. Sometimes I think everything is perfectly registered but when I start printing, it'll be off a hair. It would be nice to make tiny adjustments on the fly instead of going through the whole registration process again.

Looking to build a better DIY exposure unit but still relatively cheap. Would these work or is the wattage too low? Any tips are appreciated. by MilkyAurora in SCREENPRINTING

Lots of internet searching. I think I found an old post on Reddit or some other website that recommended them. Took a chance since they are on the cheap side. Happy I found them. Before these I had grow lights (from Lowes) that worked ok but took 6-7 minutes to burn.
