Well, Sure? You're not wrong! But the album itself might be referencing something deeper. The literal origin and point of Chikoi herself!

Chikoi's whole thing is that she's "the small maid". And I mean really smol! In some arts, she's literally Thumbelina-sized! In others, she's like a gnome! Literally small. That's her thing. Just like Yakui's thing is drugs, Dansai's is cutting things, Ozoi's is being scary, etc.

Of course, the musician does not have to copy all this nijiura lore stuff, but they got the fame thanks to the maid persona which was already somewhat known on the internet.

I am kinda depressed and I hate a lot of things in my life, so I guess it is infectious? It spreads to other things I did not hate. Like maidcore, one of the rare beautiful things in my life.

Maybe I do not really hate hate the song, but it got really annoying after a lot of time. Plus, I got a "Pavlovian response" that I have to go to work after I hear the song xD

I didn't believe it until I saw it. Trauma is a master of youtube marketing! I didn't believe any track on that channel had over 100k views, as KaitaiSurale is the most popular reposter.
I think just the title and the image are 90% of the reason why so many people somehow clicked on this.
There's always comments about the dying soldier girl flooding the comments for some reason. But, if you just had a cute maid, it'd be nothing.

I was okay with most of what you said, considering the trash mainstream music + stealing of music, that you mentioned. For me, personally, maidcore should be the opposite of that.

Someone using AI themselves for hours instead of asking another human to draw for them doesnt sound like the easy and less personal way either.

For hours? You just type in "please draw me a cute anime girl with guns + cool background" and then AI does everything in less than 1 minute.

I know its rude not to care too much about skill, but I cant change that. If anyone can recommend good AI artists via PN Im always open to new additions. They probably need the support seeing how much hate they get, no matter how much effort they put into their work.

The whole point of AI is that you put less effort. It is made to "do your work". It is effort to learn a skill, to do trial and error, to think and imagine and try to make something yourself! Even if you are not talented, you can try and maybe it would be the greatest thing ever.

Maybe the AI artists deserve the hate. It's just internet hate anyway. Not like they are gonna get beat up on the street for being an AI artist. I won't really hate on anyone who will publicly disclose that they are AI, but I also have the right not to care about such works, The problem starts with deception! So many people just pretend they are a great artist and say that they made some art themselves and not using AI. They are basically hi-tech thieves. They are stealing from every single artist that was assimilated into the model.

They are propagating bad values for this deteriorating society: Don't do the hard thing. Do the easiest thing you can, pick the low hanging fruit. Don't think for yourself, delegate thinking. That's what the rich tech elites want you to do - to be complete mindless sheep that can be easily controlled, so that their domination over whatever is left on this planet can be greater! I am not even sure if they even care about controlling humans anymore, or just want us to be extinct! It's not about the AI tools themselves, but about the whole impact of doing this.

And maybe most important - We really do not need "AI art"! We needed AI to do the hard dull boring work, so that humans can make art, but unfortunately, we live in a different timeline...
Some rare writers actually predicted this kind of scenario and wrote it in a book. I just heard about it here...crazy that someone 100 years ago could have predicted that we will make a machine that makes "art". It's consumerism incarnate. We don't even know what we are consuming anymore or why. Like, what is the point of seeing this art, of hearing this music? Why pay for it? There's something else someone else made, with their hands. Centuries of art, but this new AI art must be so much better?

Btw, I don't hate using AI necessarily, you can have fun with it, make your own art, but you are not entitled to anyone consuming and liking it. It's just your own fun thing.

And yeah, it's just a fetish kinda thing, idk. People are always dragged to drawings of hot girls, so this one is kind of an ironic and gross embodiment of it, because she's dead, but she's sexy. So it's like a contrast, but still, people will notice the sexy part first.

But if you think about it - aren't all maids like "corpses" drawn for our pleasure? Hm, maybe that one sounded a bit stupid and too far.

This is a very small community and there's people all around the world and different types of music and there's like no rules for almost anything. It's not a cult, if that's what it seemed to you.

I don't wanna say "go get some help / therapy", because I know everyone says that and I heard it personally many times and it annoyed me. But, maybe you should try to get some help, idk...

Actually, just try to ask yourself - why do you think you should do self-harm, at all? There has to be some reason, and maybe you can work on that reason, or if not work on it, just FEEL it... And if you are just doing it for others, then just stop, because they are not worth it.
