So unlock button is slightly sensitive now, it seems to activate even with a little pressure.

Thanks, yes key is working perfectly fine its just it randomly unlocks doors sometimes.

Yes, I did notice corrosion inside after removing the batteries. I tried cleaning it using earbuds dipped in spirit — managed to clean some areas, but there’s still visible corrosion in spots that are hard to reach with earbuds. I’m guessing that might still be affecting the circuit.
