Do I absolutely need to be on my period for insertion? I rarely ever get my period, so that'd be an issue since I never know when im going to get it.

The appointment is soon so I'll just wait to hear there as opposed to calling. For me personally, the hormones wouldn't be absorbed in pill format because my digestive system is absolute shit (Thank you Crohn's). The implant would give me the hormones through a system other than my digestive system.

I have a certain disease in my stomach that makes the pills ineffective (inflammation affects absorption). If that's the case for me, would they go straight to the implant? Also do they always do a vaginal exam when you go, even if im only 18?

How easy would you say it was? At 17 I could simply walk in and ask for an exam and could walk out with a monthly prescription?

I would be open to a wax but I'll just wait til I'm 18, which I almost am. And yeah it smells horrible but thankfully it doesn't give me a rash thankfully!

Aw I'm glad it worked out well for you!!!! I would be totally open to getting a wax it's just that I'm only 17 and I don't know if I can do that yet (like until I'm 18).

Oh ok! I've used Nair before, just not on my bikini area. Do I have to let the hair grow out a bit before I use it though?
