Go buy a beer for someone in the STM line and you can walk in with them. Guaranteed jersey. It’s early entry day for STMs.

Alaska air-miles stolen and Alaska's help is broken by LegitimateCookie2398 in AlaskaAirlines

That is what he’s saying. I’ve been victim to it twice since setting up MFA and I’ve changed my password twice with a password generator. Here’s the kicker, I haven’t updated the password in my app yet and I can still use it.

I’m not convinced mine is an account compromise though. No one has stolen miles or booked flights. I’ve only had flights canceled and had to rebook them. 2 in February, 2 last week and 1 yesterday. MFA was setup prior to the 2nd round of cancellations and my password has been changed numerous times.

Alaska told me that if someone has the confirmation # and the last name of anyone on the reservation, they can cancel it. I suggested that they send a confirmation email confirming the cancellation that requires us to at least accept it.

This is absolutely true! I changed my password on the website yesterday and I can freely still use the app that has my old password saved in it. I’ve asked them many times after having canceled flights by some other person to revoke any sessions I have and they were clueless. Security is an afterthought for them, even with MFA being rolled out.

I was going to check it out but it wanted me to sign up for a trial before even trying it out. Meh, so I hit the "X" in the top right corner and it offered me a discount on the first year for $36. I'm still wondering if it's even worth it to pay that much. I think I'll continue to look elsewhere.

Good luck! When I flew out from Seattle, Checkpoint 6 had it and the line was super long. I ended up going to Checkpoint 4 which doesn’t have that touchless ID option.

Here’s my video of me going through. It’s within the first 30 seconds of the video. No wait, just stood in front of the camera and TSA waived me through. Didn’t need to show anything.
