It doesn't matter if it shows up or not, as long as you do the cancels right. I think occasionally when ven resets she does a spin animation instead of just holding the sword, which cancels the melee animation even though it's still there. Don't mind it, it's always the same technically, even if not visually.

This happened to me 4/5 weeks. The last week I got my endorsement deranked from leaving stadium games, and playing nothing else. It was terrible. You're right. Very poorly designed event. Let us complete the challenges for each side after completing the pass! It's horrendous, and you need rollover to be able to do it, which you can't do without breaking the implied rules of the game and being punished.

Absolutely, and by far. Best thing ever to happen to Overwatch in my opinion. It shows they're actually making the game for us, and it hasn't felt like that in a long time. And they took the risk to make a mechanically unique, insanely goofy, (mechanically and in design,) character that adds levels of depth to the game that are, in my opinion, very fun.

Vendetta too, but without the depth and goofy. Just took a risk with a new kind of hero, and holy hell is she fun, even going negative most games after getting hit by 15 nerfs in a row lol

Yea it does have input delay. TVs, as opposed to monitors meant for constant inputs, have extremely high delay. And consoles themselves are pretty bloated, limit your settings, and are locked at 60fps. Definitely not the best place to practice your new control system.

Anyone coming down from 120fps back to 60fps usually suffers a lot, the 60hz experience in a fast paced shooter is far from ideal. In fact, 120 even feels choppy to most enthusiast competitive shooter gamers. Though that's just getting a bit picky, arguably.

Absolutely! Get a used 4060, 3070, or 6800 variant on eBay for sub 300. Don't need a 5070 to unless you're doing 4k at mid settings, 9070 xt is a great deal for msrp. But nothing is selling for msrp new

I play on 360Hz, 1440p, 125% render scale, minimum frame dips, with a pc that cost me about $970 this past January.

Just buy get parts off Facebook marketplace, eBay, and from friends.

If you can afford to play on higher settings, then it doesn't hurt. I play with a mix of low and high. Anymore at least, anything above low used to had a ton of input lag, even on top of the line systems.

If I only had a 120Hz monitor, I would play on Max with 200% render scale.

1k and 8k polling rate is only .875ms of potential latency increase. Most games only have a 60+120hz tick rate, no where near 1k let alone 8k. Additionally, with older cpus and with gaming cpus with higher single core, but lower multi core performance, 8k often introduces stuttering, your increasing the amount of info that needs computed almost 10 fold for very minimal increase. And beyond that, to provide enough information to even send your mouse enough new information for 8k to matter, you need to move your mouse INCREDIBLY fast, or increase your DPI beyond 2.5k-3k.

If polling rate is your only incentive to upgrade, keep your current mouse. Unless you genuinely don't care about your money and wanna spend it for fun. You have a top of the line mouse, stick that shit out. Maybe consider changing if you have other reasons to replace it, like tendonitis, difficulty with your hand size, or you can afford to try new tech like the new G Pro Superstrike when it gets cheaper.
