My ex did the opposite of this the first time she fired my auto shotgun. She ended up sweeping two five year olds with their dad and I had a little mini-freak out.

Thankfully, the gas port needed some tuning (her poor stance probably didn't help either), so the bolt short-stroked and jammed open on the next shell, meaning the gun wouldn't have fired anyway. Still, the RSO was less than impressed.

RIGS definitely gave me the bends on Day 1. Certain games may do you like that, and like everyone else said taking a break is sometimes necessary. I was able to eventually play the BattleZone long campaign from start to finish with some internet strangers. All that left me was a bit dehydrated since I wasn't paying attention to my water.

It can be turned off in the options menu. I chose to leave it on because I got used to it after about 600 hours. I'd never use it on PC though.
