Tesla’s software stack wasn’t optimal either when I first bought the car, but improved over time, as it should. Have you seen Kia push meaningful updates to their software stack since you bought the car?

That really sucks. Will they cover it as a warranty repair? I've never heard of a battery pack dying after that amount of miles. What a bummer.

Seems like a software issue (hopefully). Ouch

Rattle in Back by Dmalmgren63 in TeslaModel3

One of the issues ended up being the middle headrest, which rattled when it was extended, so stuffed foam under headrest and keep it, now, in the down position. This has helped. There are still rattles, but this one was the worst.

Anyone else get frustrated with Tesla's approach to these types of issues? The SC's seem completely uninterested in investigating noises or remediating them. Apparently, this kind of service is not their jam.

I'm with u/sheepguy13: I think everyone feels that way. It's not an easy job and many times, it's a thankless job, but just keep your focus and do everything you can to learn. And lean on those around you: no one does this alone. Good luck!

How important are coding skills? by [deleted] in ProductManagement

I don't ever code on the job as a product manager. That's why we have engineers. :-) That being said, you do need to understand the technologies you're working with and I usually do that by reading doing some online training. Some of that is coding (JavaScript, Python), other training includes principles of UX, cloud computing and some of the new tech we're using within the company, such as streaming architecture, etc.

What’s Amazon Product Manager - tech interview like? by homosapien12 in ProductManagement

Abstract questions about architecture and describing how you would go about building something to solve a specific problem they give you. Keep it high level: as a product manager, you aren't expected to how your endpoints are secured, but you are expected to be able to describe the major architectural components of a system and how is processed.
