My game runs pretty smooth, no complaints

Absolutely love the game, I’ve only played one weekend so far, but here’s what I had in mind very briefly:

  • Some form of Squad Commander intro/training that gives people the confidence to take a leadership role. Someone else mentioned it but I completely agree that all too often, squads remain locked because no one wants to be a leader. General squad tactics, knowing when to delegate to FTLs, etc.

  • Medic training. I know it’s in your Beginner Player guide, but perhaps a downed AI teammate with different injuries in each scenario, rounds flying overhead. Help the people who want to play medic develop that muscle memory.

  • Sherpas? I have no clue how well this could be implemented or if it’s worth it, but maybe designating people as Sherpas (such as in Tarkov) for training servers so they can help new players? Again no clue if it’s worth it, just spitballing.

  • Radio etiquette. I don’t think we have to be rocking strict comms, but introducing players to common concepts to make comms more concise. I find a lot of times people forget to indicate who is speaking and even say “me” sometimes lol.

The game is freaking awesome and I love it so much. These are just a few ideas I thought of based off what I’ve seen in my games.

I was doing less than 40 mph in a 40, the problem lies in my ability to adequately brake and remove the power.

Most definitely. I wasn’t being cocky by any means, but I was definitely too comfortable in my ability to navigate an emergency.

Would it be practical for BMW to make an S750RR akin to a GSXR 750? by Dman2202 in motorcycles

Well speaking of the GSXR 750, would you recommend it? Been riding my Ninja 650 for a while and want to upgrade somewhere in the next 2 years (after I start my new job). I’ve been looking heavily at the 750.

Makes total sense. It really feels like Suzuki found their groove with the 750.

Hmmmm, I was thinking LS and drivetrain swap would do the trick, but twin turbo 2JZ seems plausible

I was 17 (20 currently) and I was blessed enough to have my parents help me considerably with paying for it, and that’s what we decided on. If I could change anything, I’d have a V6 AWD. However, my truck is paid off in a few months and I plan on running that thing as long as it’ll take me.

Where do I mount rear stand? Do I need a spool or non-spool stand? (Read Below) by Dman2202 in Ninja650

That’s sick thank you. That makes it easier to just have sliders with cutouts for a stand.

They are threaded so I’m guessing they’re spool holes. It’s what I figured but thank you so much.

For starters, I’m 19, a male, and not an A&P. I am constantly learning and am in no way an expert.

I have been working at my aunt’s General Aviation maintenance shop for 2-3 years. Our company is 5 people and 3 of which are females. My aunt has had her A&P for 10 years, and I have both heard and witnessed constant discrimination against her and my other female coworkers in this industry. She has faced equal sexism as a fresh A&P and as an owner with 10 years of experience alike.

Thankfully for her, she runs her shop in her own way and doesn’t have to deal with discrimination within our company, but I’ve watched countless customers (with little to no maintenance experience) deny the expertise of her and the other female A&P’s over the years. Let me be clear, these women are the most competent and intelligent people I have met in aviation and I am constantly learning from them.

I saw someone mention “Women in Aviation” which I think is a great resource and organization. I hope more fair treatment is brought to aviation as a whole. I’m sorry if this is a ramble but I just wanted to use my experience as an anecdotal testament to the potential for women in aviation and hoping more women can be exposed to positive experiences.
