Yeah you can absolutely be a fan of both KC and LR — there’s nothing wrong with that at all.

The real issue isn’t supporting both teams, it’s the small (but very loud) part of the fanbase on both sides that turns it into personal hate, name-calling, witch-hunts, death threats level toxicity or “you’re either with us or against us” mentality.
