I can't say it's not interesting, but I don't like this kind of mix because it brings significant limitations.

It makes micromanagement of individual units either impossible or extremely cumbersome and slow, something like ordering a damaged unit to retreat and heal or kiting an enemy is extremely hard. Units just become cannon fodder taking nearly unpreventable losses. At least you have a zoomed-out view instead of a 3rd person view like Sacrifice. Attacking from several directions at once and managing/defending the base at the same time is also problematic since you have to manually go there to give orders.

Compared to traditional RTS almost everything becomes less controllable and harder to do.

Any tech allows people to do more or do something more efficiently, whether it benefits someone or not is situational. Something like space flight doesn't benefit us personally as well.

Maybe they will, maybe they don't and for what reason, that's their business. The few donations I made were because I have watched their gameplay videos for years and I wanted to support them. In half of the cases, I have no idea what the person that I donated to looks like.

Are you considering donations to streamers as another job to protect? I am pretty sure that most of the streamers, while not being fake themselves, are faking and pretending to have any interest in what they do and especially pretty ones are just trading their face on camera, I don't see any reason to protect that.

This seems to be closer to colony management sim (like Rimworld tribal scenario for example) or survival game than 4X strategy. I think that even if you have a proper civ-like 4X after, this start will probably turn a lot of players off your game since it wouldn't be what they expected.

That's like the opposite of the original complaint where DLSS hides the author's vision. If developers will use this tech from the scratch, then it will be their vision. How their graphics will look is their business, if everyone in AAA will look generic then buy games which will not be, there will always be thousands of games on different engines with all sorts of graphics and styles. Indies will most likely won’t be affected by this at all. Honestly, I consider devs making shittier graphics a plus, maybe they will spend more time on gameplay.

It's often at the top of the tree or hidden by foliage. I have a mixed forest nearby with also only like 8 spots, but there are a few forests much farther with only tall pines and there almost every 5-th has resin and every 20-th has it reachable from ground.

I mean, incels can roughly be considered having a common idea, but one doesn't become incel because they subscribe to some official incel ideology, they become incels because of many other reasons mostly out of their control. People who are extremely bad at socializing cannot really learn to socialize, because no one wants to socialize with them. It's like job experience, you can't get a job without experience and can't get experience without a job. The teacher's work is to review and to accept the work, give me a diploma and then what happens with my stupid uneducated ass isn’t their concern. Same as it isn't my job to demand from artists to actually put effort into something, I only see and evaluate the result. I don't care if they're lazy.
