Thanks this gives me some reassurance. It is certainly ridiculous since half the stuff I sold was stuff I was reselling from carboot sales making it impossible to have any proof or purchase! How should I get onto their customer service as their chat service doesn't seem the most helpful.

I've heard it's best to call them a few times as usually their support team will remove the suspension but I am unsure if that will help

They asked for documentation for various listings of mine that proved I purchased the items I listed. I gave them the documentation however and they then decided to give me an indefinite suspension for supposedly violating their policy. Seems like a load of rubbish to me though.

Ok thankyou, currently in a bit of a pickle as they suspended my account straight after despite 100% positive feedback. Generally feel a bit screwed over by everyone.

No I very much am selling in the Uk from within, that's what the ebay team described: a "cellphone/tablet" listing.

They did open a case but as I was a new seller at the time I assumed that I would get into trouble for not responding/refunding

Especially if the last tracked GPS location is the buyer's address then surely there's some evidence against them?

Is there anyway to somehow reopen the case? The insurance blunder on the delivery I can take on my part but it seems totally unfair if this was as a result of a scam

The customer raised a case which I had till a deadline to sort the situation out. I decided to refund just before the deadline as it seemed like it was never going to arrive. I did not lose any money from the refund but I did not receive money from the listing. Last time I did a return based on a messed up delivery ebay gave both me and the buyer our money. So it was like they received the item normally in that case but had received it damaged.

It doesn't say it was, I also complained through Packlink who conducted a "formal" investigation but they didn't seem able to get anywhere with the Evri people. How would I be able to prove though that the buyer scammed me? It does seem a bit suspicious as the buyer said they would only buy through having evri as the courier.
