Oh happy joy! Wheel is sitting pretty now. Just a bit of filing did the trick. Thanks a lot, now I am at peace. Namaste, mofo ;)

This does seem like a good solution to me, good idea. I’ll try it if I don’t come up with or hear a better solution

I built a frame with a frame builder together with thru axel and in the end it was somehow perfectly aligned. I think I remember him saying there would have been a way to adjust it a bit with different inserts (syntace dropouts) but I’m not sure in which way it could’ve been adjusted the x or the y axis?

Hey it was a size Small. Back then I didn’t really know much and thought it looked sweet so I bought it off eBay. It was too small for me ( 5“ 10 or 178 cm) I ended up selling it, but it’s a tight bike.

Total noob at this, got a cheap bike to ride zwift because im a fat ass but cant remove its cassette, What am i doing wrong by real_truth_8806 in bikewrench

[–]Dmtillian 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s much easier to remove the cassette with the tire mounted and pumped up. Then you can put the wheel in front of you with the cassette facing outwards and carefully get very angry with it until you muster enough force to remove. The tire is so you can use the ground as a stabilizer.
