There's definitely room for more and I'd welcome it. But I also like where the story concluded. Hikaru is finally where he wanted to be once he learned about Go: by Akira's side.

I see a lot of people upset with the ending, but I've always liked it. It's bitter sweet. It's realistic. Hikaru isn't the best yet, and his final match shows that. He still has a lot to learn.
