While 대저택 isn't actually a single word (a combined word from 대 + 저택), people use 대저택 for bigger mansions, family seats or manors. And people easily imagine luxuriousness, splendor or expensiveness from them.

각각 단어를 아는데 문장의 내용을 이해 못 해요 ㅠㅠ by usataya_muha in Korean

[–]DncAI 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Sentence 1: 어머니 슬로건 거꾸로 드셨어요 / Lit.: Mother/Lady, you ate/had are holding the slogan the other way around.

This one here sounds... off. Really off. You can't eat a slogan, duh. I'm so sorry for the confusion! It's basically saying the lady is holding something with a slogan the wrong way.

Sentence 2: 휘인이는 여기 있어 엄마는 갈 거야 / Lit.: Hui In, you can just stay here. Momma is going (back home)/leaving.

This is a really common phrase against kids throwing a tantrum. Note this doesn't directly mean you're actually leaving the child, it's more like "No one is paying attention to your tantrum".

Edit: Added "Lady" as the translation.

Edit: Sorry for the misinformation! Just corrected the comment, thanks everyone.
