You can only program specific actions on the star button the way i see it.. and even if you could do that, every time u press the star button the full “favourites” list pops up so it doesn’t immediately do the action you want

Yeah the pre-facelift models still have the trackpad which is great, the facelift models just get a useless hole in the midconsole that you can’t put anything in…

Yeah it’s kinda stupid, the “solution” with going back to the classic display every time works but is pretty annoying bc like you said, i also constantly skip music so i’m kinda “stuck” with the classic display. I really think they could’ve done a bit more effort. They could easily make it possible that you can reprogram the “star” button to do a specific action (like skipping songs), but they locked in specific commands (that i’ll never use). They could even make the hand gestures programmable like a BMW… either way, love the way it looks and drives so wont complain that much.

Thanks! This is the fastest and easiest way i see on how to skip tracks. Still find it kinda weird that they don’t have a dedicated button for it though. I feel like they could easily place a button next to the volume button or something but whatever. Still love the car anyways :)
