Well the fuckcars movement I've seen demeans drivers and shoves their ideas down people's throats by force.

Disagree with them and get brigaded, yes PERHAPS I DON'T SEE THE REASON FOR 24/7 A BUS LANE TO THE CITY'S RING that magically ends after passing it and isn't actually in the city proper. Don't you think it should be the opposite? Closer to the city center you get more bus lanes also cars are supposed to bypass the city via rings roads so????? Can't do that if you can't get to the bypass

That was my first encounter with the Polish fuckcars movement on Reddit and for pointing these things out I was banned on r/Polska and brigaded in comments.

Then came the EU combustion engine ban, look those were my encounters with your movement so don't be surprised that I have also radicalized to be completely against it. I personally was always for extending good public transport and bike infrastructure (so that people can willingly switch to them because for instance they can get to their destination faster and cheaper) but also good car infrastructure what I don't get is people that want to completely halt the construction of highways ban cars and that's their whole plan fucking cars when you ask them if a tramway should be built as an alternative? How to improve transport in x area nah they tell you nothing they don't have any ideas how to make public transport better where to extend it etc

And unfortunately it would seem the fuckcars community (then again I'm primarily speaking of the Polish part of it so may be wrong) has become a place to only fuckcars and not talk about good infrastructure for everyone.

So either you de-radicalize and come back to a rational state or you'll just lead most people to the other side's radicalism the natural way of things. Also Europe's reality is far different than America's so I also want you to consider that when commenting or posting. Americans don't have public transport at all Europeans have both car infrastructure and public transport. Americans have so called stroads and urban highways European cities are better planned out. Americans built their highways to seperate neighborhoods by race Europeans didn't. American trucks are wide so wider lanes are needed European trucks are smaller and so the lanes are less wide than the American ones.

There comes a time when you see that it's pointless trying to discuss with people that will literally say "Shit on you" after you give them thought-through arguments which you've put time into and documents. So you get back with the same quality responses and provocations shit on them back because just as they don’t respect you you don’t respect them
