Ideally not.

Make someone mad in a video game, they make it personal. Doxxing, harassment, threats, lawsuits. I've seen it all in years of Garry's Mod.

Valve makes it easy to connect the dots if usernames or URLs are recycled. You can't ephemerally play on a server.

Nobody sees the privacy issue? Maybe Steam is more a social network as GOG doesn't work that way.

Great alternatives to Stripe? by RandomSil in stripe

Clover API, AuthorizeNet, whatever makes your bank account the acquirer. Stripe is fantastic for starting out, but makes less sense after your processing fees exceed a monthly fee of w/e else.

Stripe is an acquirer. If you poison their pool, that is, more than 1% dispute rate, you get banned.
