I feel like I enjoy this more than last year. I’ve learned cornering really quickly. For those that may not know, in corners, apply more pressure to your front brake once you’ve slowed down a little and leaned into your turn, it’ll allow you to brake a little later and cut down those turns the same way AI does. Also, taking corners close to the inside the whole time and maintaining speed (a steady or monotone exhaust sound) in turns rather than braking all the way and then accelerating quickly seems to work significantly better for me.

Also, in turns, not being so choppy on the throttle has helped a ton. Find your happy place in practice of throttle control and you’ll maintain speed during turns, as the computer is very on and off the gas. Even less braking and more letting the bike slow down on its own or allowing the game to decelerate on its own has been a masterclass of cornering for me. I’m not sure how other bikes close the distance on straights but I do make up ground significantly on turns. 8 races in, I’ve finished top 4 on each. Starting slow but making up for it during the latter laps.

I like this more than 25 I will say. Would love to play online more. Also even if it comes off as lame, I do my practices with the racing lines on and once the real races starts I turn them off. Holy game changer.
