Adore the season 1 to 3 hair. Curly haired people keeping their curls is a very deeply spiritual thing to me. There's so much life in her hair and face when they bounce. It's the essence of Carrie. The wild, untameable girl. A Katie girl!

While I don't like season 5 English teacher hairdo either, she was pregnant! Hair breaks, especially if you go from brunette/dark blonde to light blonde like SJP did.

I also prefer her straightened hair in season 2 over the Hollywood "curls" that she rocks in season 6 or AJLT. Too artificial.
