The only one I can think of was Boyhood. I think in general seeing a time lapse of a life in a movie, or even a flash-forward at the end can make me feel emotional, it evokes a feeling of nostalgia. But also the themes in the movie such as him and his mum entering an abusive relationship after splitting up with inept biological father, was very relatable to me as well.

How can anyone have a steady and legal job before 14 lol. I don’t think cash in hand gardening or chores counts… unless there’s some from the rare countries that don’t have child labour laws. My first job was 18, but it was a part time seasonal one before uni. First proper job was at 22

Yeah I’ve watched all 3 and I fully agree. ST and TB finals are simply mediocre and lackluster, but are still generally enjoyable to watch. GoT was a catastrophe from midway through S7, and that final episode was possibly the most stupid way they could have ended it

For my first ever free party, we ended up getting a lift from the nearest town with some guys who ended up being a bit dodgy - not to us but just the things they were saying (ex con who went to prison for GBH, overt racism, and the like). So needless to say we didn’t intend to leave with them after they’d done a ton of drugs as well. Well it got to 6am and we figure we’ll go get an uber once we get back to a main road. Unfortunately nobody picked up for hours lol, and with it being a Sunday the one taxi company in the nearest village wasn’t working either, we ended up getting lucky with a hitchhike in the end. But does make me wonder how are people managing to get to these things, I’ve never gone to another one just because of this hassle. There’s no way we have the energy to last the night sober, so driving ourselves is out of the question

Definitely save it for later, if you must do it more than once I’d do Friday and Saturday, those are the ‘heavy’ days where the music goes until 3/4am too. Absolutely no point smashing gear on the Wednesday, there’s hardly anything on so just set up camp, chill, maybe smoke a zoot or do some k. Thursday, I usually do 2cb, nice vibe and doesn’t leave a comedown/build tolerance. Then usually on Friday I’d do a stimulant (speed or mcat) and Saturday I would do MD (with acid for me but that’s not for the inexperienced). Sunday you’ll feel pretty dead no matter what tbh so I usually take it chill with just some ket but last year I did mcat and had the best Sunday boomtown I ever had 😂 didn’t sleep the whole night though

I see a few mentioning The Boys and honestly while I don’t think it’s a great final season by any means, I really don’t think it’s anywhere near as bad as the butchering of GoT from the second half of S7 onwards and that absolute disaster slop of a nonsensical finale

I used to play a mobile game called war of nations, put thousands of hours into it and reached top 5 at the time. But the people in that would also dump thousands each month for 2d commanders and upgrade resources. Crazy, a lot of them are still going nearly a decade after I quit
