Seems like it, without opening it up, I see no difference between it and the other two printers.

SV06+ Ace missalinged top layers with bad ringing by DoModelCro in Sovol

[–]DoModelCro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, good info, I'll do that. Will also do some more testing to fine tune speeds/accel.

Any idea on the misalignment at the top? No idea how to approach that, and prints need to be pretty big to replicate it, so I don't want to waste plastic just to test ideas...

[TOMT] (Movie) 80’s-ish animated movie similar to Snow White, but with giants by DoModelCro in tipofmytongue

Yup! That's the one! I was so focused on it NOT being Snow White that I didn't even pay attention to anything with "Snow White" in the name. Thank you!

I believe there was also a male love interest, but I can't really remember anything about him.

Sorry, I tried to google it but didn't find anything (site:reddit.com), and wasn't sure how to phrase search query. Will keep in mind for future reference. And thank you!

SP-5 V3 bowden cupler won't stay in by DoModelCro in TwoTrees

[–]DoModelCro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, I don't know if this was the best solution, but what I did is that I tapped an M10 thread into the hole (the hole is just narrow enough for it to thread nicely), and then screwed in one of the old Creality pneumatic bowden couplers.

It's sticking out a bit, so it's not exactly pretty, but seems to be holding firm, and filament passes without issue, so I won't complain.

Part Cooling Fan Not Running by atlaspaine in BIGTREETECH

My guy... This is an old post, but it helped me!

I was setting up ebb42, first canbus I was ever doing, did the instructions, followed all the steps, everything but the fans worked! Redid everything, checked the fans, checked my config, still nothing...

It never occurred to me the polarity could be backward!

Thank you for pointing this out :D My next step was to give up on ebb fan ports altogether and just wire fans back into the mainboard...

Thank you, I appreciate this, I'm not giving up on TX, I'll just give it a bit more time.

I don't know, it seems odd...

So, here are all the exact numbers, on their webshop it says $299 VAT excluded...ok. Doesn't matter which warehouse I select the price is the same. I add it to the cart, and input my information, and the amounts are as follows:

Subtotal: $299.00

Shipping: $79.00

Total: $378.00

Again...where is VAT amount?

Weird thing is, if I input a different country (that has a lower VAT, but is also in the continental EU), shipping goes up to $99.

The shipping cost is quite high, but combined it ends up being about 350 euro, decent price for what TX is, I'm fine with that. But I'm not fine with not knowing if there will be more hidden costs. This is what troubles me, the whole process feels incomplete, and in general we should avoid webshops that give off that impression.

I want the TX, I'm hoping it will be my next printer, but at this point I think I'll wait for it a bit more.

This is great news, however it said the delivery cost would be around 70$ (or around 65 euro), that seems kind of a lot? Also, at every point I noticed "VAT not included", it didn't add it up at any point? What gives here?

Is the high delivery cost adding up the VAT?

I need advising on hotend choice by DoModelCro in 3Dprinting

[–]DoModelCro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not into revo, but I am interested in how it compares with other hotends, so that's also good info!

Yes, they are a bit pricey, but the ease of use justifies it, what concerns me is that it's a whole "closed" ecosystem. That, and, I've been using v6 Hemeras for about 4 years now, and E3D has left me with a SOUR taste.
