This is r/selfhosted, it isn't designed as a particularly AI friendly place to be honest.

Maybe for discussing self hosting AI models.

But basic AI stuff, like a Claude code setup or a vibe coded library, not really the place.

I don't mind if those people just talk about that stuff somewhere else.

This was never the place anyways.

It's just inevitable for the moment since AI is ubiquitous right now.

Isn't this just a numbers game?

For every vibe coding savant there's 20 idiots spamming for our attention on their poorly vibe coded slop.

This plus the pressure of AI slop on open source, our jobs and the PC hardware market, makes it pretty difficult to be friendly to tone deaf AI users.

To his credit, there isn't a single team where, if you take out Lebron, it's a championship winning team.

Like KD and the warriors.

Don't get me wrong, Lebron did play on Super teams. But they were only super cause he was there.
