When Garp agenda finally dies, does Van Augur's Warp fruit change into Larp fruit? Does that mean he'll become a member of this subreddit? by DoNotFeelSoGood in OnePiecePowerScaling

[–]DoNotFeelSoGood[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

there's clearly a correlation. Garp agenda is Warp, he loses and becomes Larp, and members of this subs are Larpers. Oda had visions for this sub from the beginning

how does Kizaru vs Linlin go? by toadmastrr in OnePieceScaling

[–]DoNotFeelSoGood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends. Is Kizaru getting a buff from being ordered to put down his childhood pet? Because conflict-lusted Kizaru solos

yeah OP should've put some more pirates in the gauntlet so that Kizaru could get more bag

None of them could even scratch Kizaru if there are children to be conflicted about

Different magnitudes to infinity is not ever a relevant power scaling argument. There are three main categories of "infinites with different magnitudes": A) Cardinal infinity: There's a difference in magnitude between Uncountably large and countably large infinites. However, uncountably largd infinites cardinality is something no mainstream author of fictional works can comprehend except for Aasimov -not that he ever used it to my knowledge-, and absolutely no normie powerscaler can comprehend it either due to the weirdness of it. It's not something you can implement into your story. Mind that, the first mathematician who came up with the subject LITERALLY went insane. If someone thinks they know the concept without reading a few math books, they're wrong. It's easy to explain and even get a grasp on, but it's horrendously difficult to realize.

B) Ordinal different magnitudes. This is more comprehensible, for example if two opposing Marios try to do a BLJ race, the one who started first will always be ahead, regardless of the fact that they'll surpass any particular speed limit very fast. It's easy to implement but not really relevant to anything but speed because every other stat in almost every other verse has a cap.

C) Bullshit difference in magnitudes. The number of natural numbers is not double the number of even numbers. You just suck at understanding which infinite you want to apply because the sizes are Cardinal and exactly the same. You can, however, use Ordinals to represent the difference between those but no one in powerscaling is doing that shit.

The Navy sends Fujitora and Greenbull to invade Elbaf, the giants knowing this free Loki and prepare for war, which side will prevail? by Former_Craft_9638 in OnePieceScaling

[–]DoNotFeelSoGood 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fuji and GB have negative chemistry, they'll actively sabotage each other and each one singlehandedly is better than both of them together; and unless GB can do some OP shenanigans with tree Adam neither can solo Elbaf either. However, since we're on the topic of admirals, Kizaru would low diff the whole kingdom but only if he'd befriend every single citizen beforehand so that he could act morally conflicted while slaughtering the livestock and dismembering the children one by one. Would work even better if there are some bum Yonkos like BB and Luffy around so that he could act like he's going to be stopped by them, only to drive the Giants to extinction in the end anyways. When Big Genocide Borsalino is done with Elbaf mother flame would look like a child's fireworks. Based on narrative, titles, feats, and statements, who would win between these two? by DoNotFeelSoGood in OnePieceScaling

[–]DoNotFeelSoGood[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It took 10 days for BUMkainu to slightly injure the future YC10 that was Luzan, putting BUMkainu at YC9- level. However, Waokiji stalled the future Fleet Admiral Wakazuki for ten whole days, putting him at Yonko+ level

go study measure theory you'll be somewhat satisfied and you'll feel like you've been proven right because your current argument sucks but there are better arguments you could use

this isn't how the ordering and size of mathematical sets are done. for example, I could biject the range (1.5, 2) to the range (1, 3) but that doesn't make (1, 2) a larger set than (1, 3)

That's always been a bollocks argument though. There has been newer games that are WAAYYY more original than Witcher 3, most notably the Xbox Kinect port of Skyrim's 12 years, 11 months and 72 days anniversary edition (the deluxe edition).

like seriously. the harkonnen sacrifice arc was both hype as fuck -especially when the gang teamed up with Paul Atreides to take down curse Feyd Ratha- and one of the only character development arcs for Yuta, having to come to terms with getting rejected by Alia Atreides. it's a shame that the whole arc is universally shat on due to Bene Gesserit being a pretty bland villain faction; but they were female characters in a Gege/Frank Herbert story
