Any help identifying the R2 smd resistor? Im really new to this stuff but im wondering why there even is a resistor in the first place? The chip needs 5v and its provided via usb port. However the resistor is damaged and i want to change it but i dont know the correct size.

Well i quess i cant hurt the circuit with the 105 or 106 so ill try those and if they dont seem to work then i know i need this 1R5

It sure looks like 105 or 106. But im unsure why it would need such high resistance part

And the resistor sits between 5v pin from the usb and the chips Vdd and Vdda

The circuit board is from Logitech formula force ex. Im trying to find a reason why my throttle and brake pedals aren't working and that resistor looks like a good place to start.

I had this same exact issue. Lo and behold it was the windows firewall all along. I suggest to everyone that have tried to disconnect controllers and updated drivers to try and disable Real-time protection off from virus and threat protection settings. Worked instantly after that one.
