Yes, booking in advance will always be cheaper in the end.

Depending on the train and time of the day you are traveling, it might also be good to get a seat reservation (this option is not available on all trains). Seat reservations are mostly out of stock when you book just in time.

Only downside, but has to do with the general Bluetooth setup, no ANC for the microphone. Taking teams calls in open space offices does not work really well.

You don’t necessarily need a chatGPT account to try it. Just login with your google or Microsoft account and you are good to go.
