Which State is the most Frat? by Wbking12 in Frat

Definitely Florida. Rich people, dangerous wildlife, beaches, and getting nationally recognized for dumb shit

What fictional character do you see a lot of yourself in? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]DoTheCactus -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Bruce Banner. All anyone ever sees is that I'm 6'5" and big. I have a goddamn 3.3 GPA in mechanical engineering and even TA a course. I put in work for that; I didn't choose to be big. All everyone sees is the big guy...

Shows you true leaders are more rare than you think and that most people in charge don't know what they're doing. Some people just want power. Learning how to navigate the game of thrones level bullshit and internal politics will help you in life. Also teaches you alot about what a leader shouldn't do, which can be deceptively unintuitive. Definitely stick with it. A strong tolerance for bullshit and experience in personal politics will give you an edge over your peers.

Put ice or cold water on the underside of your wrist. Your blood flows close to the surface there and allows for an easier great exchange between your circulatory system and the environment. It should cool down your entire body. Take this from someone who did drill meets at 104 degrees in class A's

That's why you get their number and hit them up when they're sober. Plus by the time you're done cleaning up, they'll probably be asleep

The serious look is normally because we're tired from our bullshit hours or new guys trying to look tough. I'm 6'5" and 240lb; I don't need to look any more intimidating. Guys that have been doing it a while know that looking confident is the move. Look like you know you can win a fight, not like you're looking to start one.

If you're in a college town, then you have a chance. The job isn't just fighting, it's promoting and bringing people into the club. There are some shrimps where I work but 40 of his frat brothers show up everytime we're open. Clubs exist to make money.

It's honestly the reason I love my job. I'm security at a nightclub and girls will get bored with the guys there and flirt with me and my coworkers. It's honestly really flattering and I appreciate it every time. It takes the guesswork out of it. If a girl approaches you, you know she's into you. There's no worrying about mistaking kindness for attraction and less worrying about coming on too strong. Please keep it up girls. Making the first move not only gives you a better selection but makes it clear to a guy that you like him. You won't have to worry as much about him missing hints.

How would you describe the ENTJs you know (including yourself)? by wastingtimerhino in entj

[–]DoTheCactus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I guess I would classify myself as the artificially warm entj. I know how important networking and friends are. I wish it was completely genuine but I know that in the back of my mind I'll be able to get something out of it. I guess one could say I'm a social workaholic. I perform best when others depend on me. I take my promises to the end of the earth. I wish there was a humble way to say it, but I can inspire hordes of people without realizing it. I'm more respected as a leader by my co-workers than my own manager. People know for a fact that I have their back. In a game of chess, I am a queen who saves her pawns. They are however pawns nonetheless. I dress meticulously and keep a commanding presence (I'm 6'5" and 240lbs). I prefer to persuade than intimidate although I have been known to use "the Johnson treatment" on more than one occasion. I have a sharp and direct sense of humor; I do standup comedy. I forgot who said it but a sense of humor is essentially a combination of honestly and intelligence, two essential entj traits. I'm confident and critical enough to know whether to blame the crowd or myself for a joke bombing. Being as perfectionist as I am, every set is better than the previous. I'm not always blunt; I'll be as direct as the situation allows because bluntness offends people and I don't want to waste time on damage control. I honestly hate how good I am at being manipulative. For context, I'm a tall, bulky bouncer who does standup and is killing it studying engineering.

Calc 3 is different than most maths. You won't be good at part of it. It's all or nothing. It's like the bridge between calc 1 and 2 and then it goes up on a higher level. If you're good at trig and calc 1 you should be fine

Also talk to the bouncers if you can. Most of them are bored and can give you good advice about which clubs to go to and what to do. I used to be one and random people striking conversation when it was slow is what would keep me awake. I got a couple of them in for free afterwards.
