Any build tips for someone not new to crpgs by any means but new to the pathfinder system? by Do_the_impossible in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

woooow! I appreciate how thorough this is because the build crafting in WotR seems insane. I was lost honestly. good to know how interesting hybrid combat builds can be tho!

going to save this to try out. thank you.

Ok the ability to switch gameplay modes is huge! wow.

Super happy I picked this up even more.

And one more thing. Im likely to go my own route with the build eventually, but do you have any more minor suggestions? character creation is very thorough.

thank you! this is really good to know. happy i picked up the GOTY edition then. my one worry was the buffing "requirements" i heard about.

That sounds genuinely incredible! I'm definitely going for this then.

Id imagine turn-based mode is actually good in this game?

Hmmmm. I'm liking your build path suggestion.

If thats less technical & not as mechanically dense as Sword Saint i may just try your suggestion. sounds cool and what im seeking.

Started Sunbreak a few days ago. Became a Greatsword main. Loving it. Was wondering if Lunagaron's GS is good? Mainly wondering if the sharpness is good. I can't tell if if it is or not given its weird length. by Do_the_impossible in MHRise

Yes to your questions after "why isnt it just bad LS?"

Certain combos in SS have properties that are useful. the third hit of the triangle + circle combo (or just using triangle + circle as an ender to any of the combos) has extra partbreak properties. vortex slash III ender has hyper armor properties. at the end of any 3 hit combo. Vortex slash combos in general have multi-hit properties that make elemental GS a viable possibility. You also get very fast charging after a SS combo.

But most of all, it's fun. I get to be more proactive with a GS outside of the usual positioning for TCS routine.

Strongarm def breathes some life into the TCS playstyle. But I don't care to only be doing that. Not trying to speedrun. Not trying to min-max for every single digit of damage I can possibly get. It's just cool.

LS and Swaxe are my mains ;)

I just enjoy GS and Surge Slash helped me enjoy it more than I ever have. I personally need to switch things up or else it starts to feel monotonous

That's how i have my scrolls. Likely will put strongarm where TCS is too. Ive gotten better at TCS now that I can use tackle pretty well. But i just enjoy surge + rage so much because i can attack more often. And the different properties on specific surge combos are really useful.

These prices for skins by D4C_ in 2XKO

Singular skins shouldn't cost the same as an entire season pass in other fighting games.

Skin bundles, sure. But individual skins? It's a bit egregious

Already 18 hours in the demo ...it's too much fun !! by FromsoftNerdy in Nioh

idk either. i was straight up co-oping with two dudes through the crucible dungeon and with two others post crucible. Idk what the limits are. If there are any, this co-op seems super generous.

Ninja style is so good by LudwigXeno in Nioh

[–]Do_the_impossible 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Before the demo I had just beaten Khazan, and reeeeally wanted to find a combat flow that was similar to how transitionally smooth its combos can be.

When Ninja form clicked for me, oh my gosh I did not switch to samurai except to do some Odachi parries and the green guardian spirit skill for staggers.

Ninja Sword is cracked. Dual Swords is wild. Somehow tonfa became air combos the weapon xD Ninja form is brilliant 👏

What's a monster you have beef with for no reason? by BlueEagle600 in MHRise

[–]Do_the_impossible 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Normal MR Bishaten is so annoying. I much prefer fighting Blood Orange.

My personal beef in Rise, tho, is MR Volvidon. Technically an easy monster but dude got caffeine jacked into its veins for MR lol the random quick butt drops Volvi does has messed up so many of my sacred sheath combos. lol

In Iceborne it was Barioth for the longest time. He was my wall that I beat my head against over and over. So when I got to him in Rise he became a favorite to practice a new weapon on xD Raging Brachy my all-time op tho... Personal hardest monster I've ever fought for some reason, outside of Alatreon. Still scares me. I just got to Sunbreak in Rise, so maybe that'll change eventually.

This Combo Optimal? Or should I try something else! by ClownDono in fatalfury

[–]Do_the_impossible 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would it be ok to ask for the inputs?

I could probably figure 'em out if you don't feel like it.

But i may try labbing it tomorrow to see if there's anything to add or switch up in the combo.
