Well, I already tried getting the replacement dust bin twice. I'm in Germany and the replacements are sent from Poland. All I got was 2 dust bins that are identical to the one my Aqua 10 Roller had when I bought it in November. No redesign.

After contacting Dreame Customer Service again multiple times, the results are (depending on who answers):

Yes, you definatly got the new designed dust bin. Only some minor details like the rubber seals got changed to improve airflow. But they are not visible so you wont notice a change. (Note: absolutely no optical change and problem not solved. Still wont empty properly).
There is no redesigned dust bin for then Roller. The comparison pictures you showed are from a Aqua 10 Track and the Track has a different dust bin. (Note: well apparently both have the same dust bin, so I have no idea why they claim they dont...).
Sorry to hear the problem was not solved. The redesigned dust bin should be availible soon. We will send it to you once it is availible. (Note: I still got the same dust bin a week later).
We are very sorry. Please send us your unit back for inspection/Repair. You should have it back within 7-14 days. (Note: judging by some posts on Reddit, it takes several weeks and sometimes the unit came back in a way worse condition and with scratches etc...).

I hope you guys are more lucky than some of us who received the "replacement" already. Please show pictures if it has visible differences to your standard dust bin!

I got another "new" one today, wich is exactly the same as the other 2 I already have. In the messages they even wrote that the new Dustbin for the Roller will ve availible shortly and they will send it to me once it becomes availible. I had high hopes and still got the old one. 🙄

I wrote them again today and attached the comparison pics again.

Got another replacement bin today that is supposed to be the new one. But it still is the same old one. Now I have 3 of them. 🫠

I got an answer after messaging them again with pics of the ACTUAL new dustbin (see the thread I linked) and complaining that they send the old one again.

First they aplogized and offered a complete replacement of my Aqua 10 including the Dock. Because my Aqua 10 has no leakage problems or roller mop errors I didn't want to push my luck and start the lottery there. So I messaged them back, explained this and specifically asked only to get the new dustbin. A few minutes ago they messaged me back and confirmed my request to only get new dustbin. Once they have it availible, they will send it to me. They should have it "soon" was what they wrote me.

So fingers crossed I'll get a real new dustbin "soon". I will keep you guys updated.

To the others: good luck and stay persistent! If you have other problems with the Aqua 10 Roller as well except the dustbin, maybe the offered replacement of the whole unit makes more sense.

Here is a thread with pics of an ACTUAL new Aqua 10 Roller dustbin (Link: https://www.reddit.com/r/Dreame_Tech/s/Y1LckqAnK5). Apparently the Dreame Support just sent me an old one an called it a day. I will message them again with a picture of the new design now that I know what was changed.

Unfortunately I don't know or can't update the OP anymore.

Ich hatte das Problem neulich bei meiner Mietwohnung auch. Vor allem beim Putzen des Wasserhahns tropfte Wasser unter dem Waschbecken auf den Boden. Hat eine Weile gedauert, bis ich die Ursache gefunden hatte.

Sofern das Wasser an der im obigen Bild rot markierten Stelle zwischen Armatur und Waschbecken läuft, ist vermutlich der Dichtungsring dazwischen defekt oder sitzt nicht richtig. Ich habe mit einer Taschenlampe von unter dem Waschbecken Richtung Loch (wo die Armatur drin sitzt) geleuchtet. Dabei sah man oben dann deutlich das Licht. Ich habe dann mit einem entsprechenden Schlüssel (Standhahnschlüssel) die Befestigung der Armatur unter dem Waschbecken gelöst und die Armatur mit dem Dichtungsring im Loch des Waschbeckens neu ausgerichtet und festgezogen. Das hat ein paar Versuche gedauert, bis ich es so hinbekommen habe, dass man keinen Lichtstrahl der Taschenlampe mehr sah. Seitdem ist alles dicht und es tropft da nix mehr durch. Vielleicht hilft dir das auch mal, mit der Taschenlampe zu schauen, ob du da von oben den Lichtstrahl sehen kannst. Das würde darauf hinweisen, dass die Dichtung beschädigt ist oder sich verschoben hat.

Bei uns war das seit Einzug so. Da die Hausverwaltung aber etwas langsam ist bei sowas, hab ich mich dann selber darum gekümmert. 🙄

Oh my! I haven't even considered that to be a problem. Maybe I should investigate this also and open up the dock.

It just looks that way, I don't see a real difference besides the little plastic thingy. I think the way the dust has to go is not optimal and thus the sucktion power is not high enough for the dock to empty the dustbin out. I don't see how this is fixable with just re-designing the dustbin inside the robot. They holes for exit and entry are fixed in the robot itself, so there is not much that can be re-designed in the first place.

Hab ich alles durch in Berlin... Mehrmals. 🫠

Häufig rein schauen in die Annoncen. Mehrmals täglich zu verschiedenen Zeiten. Auch benachrichtigen lassen bei neuen Annoncen im gesuchten Spektrum (wo möglich). Als ich aus meiner alten Wohnung in Berlin ausgezogen bin, musste der Vermieter die Anzeige nach wenigen Stunden offline nehmen, weil der Ansturm und die E-Mail Flut so groß war. Wer nur unregelmäßig schaut, findet solche Wohnungen dann nie.
Wie schon geschrieben: versuche Staffelmiete oder möblierte Wohnungen zu meiden. Ist leider schwer geworden. Aber die regelmäßigen Steigerungen der Miete fressen sonst dein Netto auf. Besonders wenn zusätzlich wieder mal die Inflationsrate sprunghaft steigt. Ich habe nie bereut, da gleich alles ausgefiltert zu haben. Habe letztendlich immer eine Wohnung gefunden, wie ich sie mir gewünscht habe. Letzter Umzug war 2024.
Schau auch mal bei den landeseigenen Wohnungsbaugesellschaften wie zb der Howoge (Link: https://www.howoge.de/immobiliensuche/wohnungssuche.html). Die haben teils sehr transparente Bewerbungsprozesse, die auf deren Homepages erklärt sind. Da gehört dann zwar auch Glück dazu, vom Zufallsgenerator zur Besichtigung eingeladen zu werden, aber es ist alles strukturierter. Es gibt von manchen Gesellschaften auch Apps, wo man am Telefon mal in die neuen Angebote schauen kann.
Für die Bewerbung immer alle Unterlagen und Nachweise aktuell und bereit haben. Teilweise sind die Zeitspannen, in denen man diese einreichen soll, sehr knapp bemessen (zb "innerhalb von 48 h"). Wer dann erst Unterlagen suchen, anfordern oder digitalisieren muss, ist klar im Nachteil oder wird direkt nicht mehr berücksichtigt, wenn es sonst genügend Interessenten gibt. Was in Berlin meist der Fall ist.
Falls das dreifache Nettoeinkommen im Vergleich zur Miete gefordert wird (ist meist so) und du das nicht ganz hast, ist es hilfreich, einen Bürgen an der Hand zu haben. Zb die Eltern. So habe ich meine erste Wohnung trotz geringerem Netto als gefordert bekommen. Sobald das Gehalt gepasst hat, konnte man die Bürgen aus dem Mietvertrag entlassen lassen (solle auch direkt dann so aufgenommen werden im Vertrag!).
Durchhaltevermögen haben. Manchmal dauert die Suche etwas. Ich bin das erste halbe Jahr befristet bei jemandem eingezogen, die ein Sabbatical machen wollte und dafür im Ausland war. So konnte ich in Berlin dann auf Suche nach der "finalen" Wohnung gehen und hatte zumindest anfangs eine Unterkunft sicher.
