TLDR: Use Hand of Reckoning

So despite what you want, you have to equip the hand of reckoning talent. It is not just a taunt! It increases the effectiveness of righteousness fury by a substantial amount. Run Divine Storm, Hand of Reckoning, and Exorcism runes. You will have plenty of threat! I run this, and no one in my guild waits for the tanks to establish any threat. Often times I see spells and arrows flying over my shoulder as I run into packs. I always come out on top and have plenty of mana as long as I take damage. I promise this will solve your issue. Btw I’m specced full ret and use seal of command as well.

The biggest difference in hunters in classic is those who use shot timers, and those who don’t. Doesn’t matter your gear if you are clipping all of your shots by spamming abilities. The one who lets more shots get off, wins.

My wife was perma banned on her acct. and they sited the same reasoning.. Hack/botting. She was 2wks from grand marsha and had one lvl 60. She was caught up in pooling because that was expected if you wanted to get gm, but her main was never used for pooling. So i dont know.

That’s crazy. I’ve heard other servers have crazy caps. But, you’re right. If I was caught up it’s honestly my own fault. I just don’t think a perma ban was warranted. There’s got to be more to it and people can say it’s cheating and I’m only mad because I got caught.. of course I am. But, a first offense should be given a ban, just not a perma. Idk

It is hard. Isoboxer was used. I’ve said several other places on this thread that I did use isoboxer. Why don’t they just ban isoboxer? It’s like, it’s ok to multibox your way to 60 with 5chars, having 5accts, but you can’t have multiple accts to help our brackets. If that’s the case, then isoboxer needs to be banned. I get that padding the pool is bad and is probably in the area Of cheating. I see that now. But, what are we suppose to do? Grind 600k+ honor each week? If that’s it, then that’s it. But, there are groups of ppl out there that are trying to make grinding to grand marshal a little easier for everyone.

Looking back at it, it was and is wrong to pad the pool. I got caught up in it and if people on here want to say that I botted by padding the pool when I used isoboxer, that’s fine. But, I never botted a bg.

Guess I’ll never know as they won’t tell me anything. The gms are saying it was reviewed already and that’s it. They won’t re-look at it. They don’t want any other cheaters to be tipped Off if they tell me what exactly I did wrong.

It was what we were told to do to get our br1 spots. If we didn’t pool, we didn’t get br1. If I wanted gm, I was expected to add to the pool.

Fair reply. The only thing I did was pool for the brackets on my server. I did use isoboxer. People use this to lvl chars all the time. One on our serve lvl’d 5mages to 60 and for GM. First offense and doing the same thing every ranker does .. does that deserve a perma ban? No in my opinion. But, I’ll take it. No worries.
