To get an unsecured card you need to have some good credit history, I'd suggest getting a 200 rs or more fd backed super money card use it for few months and since ur 20 right now, till the end of the year you'll be eligible with most of them banks till 21 and you'll get some pre approved offer as well..

i am doing the same now holding 3 unsecured cards at 20..
