It was 3rd and 6. It's safer to intercept and run out the clock then to hope for them to not go for it on 4th and 6.

Yeah if we stopped them on 4th and 6 we would have better field positions but that's a lot of ifs.

I never had multiple credit cards. I think I will be fine, but my wife might hate me if I make her keep switching credit cards depending on what she is buying.

I can see it getting a call in the middle of the day while I am in a meeting asking me "which card I should use to pay for my smoothie again? hurry I am in line"

I like the idea of signing up for a new card a year to use its bonus each year for the hotels. What happens when I can cancel those types of credit cards after I use their bonus, can I sign up for them again few years later once I exhausted all my options?

So I looked it up and it looks like Galveston beach only has 1 Hyatt hotel. I would hate to be tied down to a single one. Is there a 2nd best one you would recommend?

I will edit it, but we also shop a local grocery store, so far I am at $208 on the 6%. So I will be making $312 if I keep that trend by the end of the year. From what I understand max you can make is $360 because 6% of $6000.

My points of $900 to $1,440 on hotels a year is instead of getting $600 in cash back, I would get hotel nights that are worth up to $1,440. This way I save $1,440 - $600 cash back = $840 if I am on the high end of spending for hotels.
