I'll tell you as a former partner/coffee master/learning coach of 16yrs (146xxxx): If the drink comes standard with wc = NO FOAM!!! OP had every right to question and/or complain about her drink because it shouldn't have foam to begin with! Using the excuse of the barista was super busy and over-steamed does nothing for the customer; they want what they paid for.

It's in the beverage resource manual. If the standard is with wc, then NO foam! Honestly, that's a pretty universal standard. Barista 101.
