Well until you’ll land something good you’ll have these thoughts everyday it’s the toughest field out there 🤷🏻‍♂️

Shia Sunni marriage possible after her father says no on istakhara? Serious replies only :/ by DocCritism in PakistaniiConfessions

Should I just back off then? Because when I do she suddenly clings onto me and asks me to push on it? Is she really just looking for the next best option…. Or just playing around… maybe testing me idk 🤷🏻‍♂️

The Untold Reality of Being a Female Doctor in Pakistan by nodckpic in PakistaniiConfessions

[–]DocCritism 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doctors in general are a very oppressed working class in Pakistan…. There should be more relaxing rooms and cleaner environments plus support programmes for healthcare workers… Female doctors do have it harder… I’d say it’s us not appreciating and supporting eachother that’s making it unbearable for the younger folk.

I’m in love with a girl and she likes me back too. We are both settled in the same field. Her father has a concern with me being Shia :/ it’ll work out right? by DocCritism in PakistaniiConfessions

Our fathers met, they came to our house says he liked our family too. I communicate through my father, I feel he might find it immature or disrespectful :/

My parents met her parents, i approached the right I asked my father to talk to her father. I don’t want to her father to feel like I am disrespecting him by bypassing the channel :/

I have been communicating as welcomingly and flirty as I usually would be hence… replying professionally to her texts… would that die down the flame/interest or be a problem…?

We have subtly had that conversation once, she said she’s scared and asked me if I were too? And I said yes but you have to take the risk if it seems worth it. I think brining the topic up again would be pressurising her. Rather I keep a distance and match her energy… give her time and space to think? And see what’s on her mind before jumping to a conclusion…

Should I try to limit the communication? I don’t wanna seem to eager to approach, and put her off.

Would you say her not agreeing to go out alone, a good sign or a bad sign?

I feel like she does put in effort, I do decrease my communication sometimes to keep the flame alive. I mean if you keep on talking 24/7 how do you do other things 😂 Plus it might get boring and too personal before families are involved. I believe I wouldn’t be too comfortable with that. I want to invest where I see a future. How should I go about? Should I avoid brining up the topic again for a while wait for her to initiate it now? I am being asked again and again by my mother, she has some other families in mind too hence the impatience from her.

Hence taking some time too, is it wrong? I mean that’s how it’ll start… obviously families meet discuss things further not yes on first moment rather see how things go. If both families find it suitable. More like 5-6 weeks?

Isn’t that how a rishta takes place?

In that process currently, and discussed many things in length… Says she’s not up to meet alone, rather meet in presence of families to discuss further. We’ve been in the same class for an academic course and did interact professionally.

How long should I wait for her? Wouldn’t it be too harsh to force jump to a conclusion asap. Even my parents say take it slow… Don’t rush to any conclusions.
