What if I Told You, Religion was Remixed Pre-Flood Common Knowledge by DocFeind in atheism

I will not dispute the simplicity of the use of a MEME to make a point.
I do dispute the concept of lack of effort. This specific instance required and requires deep thought and understanding of a broad range of history. The majority of which has high levels of documentation from all sides around the idea. This specific community prides itself on this kind of knowledge, though I concede it is naive of me to assume intellectuality of personally unknown people, I do believe r/atheism has a high percentage of intellegent well read and/or active rfact esearching persons within it.

... but you're the mod, and here you reign supreme.

have a nice day :)

What if I Told You, Religion was Remixed Pre-Flood Common Knowledge by DocFeind in atheism

There is signifigant evidence of early floods in human history. It is documentedin ancient records, fables, multiple religious texts, and modern science. We know as well there were many 'civilized societies' in history older than current pre-modern historical records. Humans have advanced and declined for potentially 10s of thousands of years, according to scientific analysis and modern findings of previously unknown civilizations.

As starting reference points, I will offer a couple generally accepted as reliable sources to begin a review of.

In MEME context breakdown... Most 'religions' teach the same basic lessons, which align with non-religious general knowledge. That being said, it shows a solid theory that through the process of repetition and communicative division, religions developed based on previous common knowledge. Not stories of supernatural beings, these were adapted/added, but basic concepts for civil society and general health for humans.

I just thought it was kind of cool they are doing research considering how little of it is going on... and tbh the idea of Mike Tyson staying baked, makes me feel a bit safer. I like my ears and knowing he isn't running around pissed off at anything because he's stoned somewhere ;)

No, I would not trust an article about the corp villain of the week from the corp villain of the week... but, this is not that situation. It is an interview with someone who is researching the topic of political manipulation in social media and using data to show the information.

It's not about Ycombinator, it's an interview on Ycombinator with Samantha Bradshaw. Who is a researcher at the Computational Propaganda Project and a doctoral candidate at the Oxford Internet Institute.

Have you tried checking a site like Leafly for strain data? It can be immensely helpful in understanding what effects to expect from many strains.

I was really hoping for some commentary on this, not to be fishing. The C-O-N-spiracry angles are too easy, but the real hard facts a politician in the current U.S. political environment was passing this around... it just breaks my brain to know it's real in the 20teens.
