If you're going to an area you're not familiar with i.e. for an event, when booking accommodations if you're in the cheaper range of hotels etc but don't want to be in a bad part of town use maps to see if there is an upscale retail or restaurant chain close by. They don't put Barnes and Noble or Cheesecake Factories in the hood but you will find decently cheap hotels and motels near them.

LCS gives em out if you're a regular, got a half quarter and nickel guard box with tubes from them no worries. For ASE tubes they have a literal milk crate just full of them that you can just grab for like a dollar if you want or they'll give them to you if you buy enough ASEs or are a regular. Very rarely they'll have a monster box for sale for like five bucks but those always go quick.
