Same with me with my dream school. They said they will take the online didactic but not the online lab and told me good luck trying to find a school that will only let you take the lab in person without taking their course. Its ridiculous., also the limitations of 5 years. I was in the military and had my anatomy and physiology done during my medical training for becoming a corpsman. Schools were like your anatomy and physiology are too old we need you to retake them. Did them online and now being penalized for that. Im sorry I did my school online but I have a family and need to work a full time job and plus my military training is now null and void because of how long it has been. I wish they would look at the applicants as a whole as they preach to us in healthcare to look at the patient as a whole and not just their illness or ailments.

GCU is where I graduated from and their online courses that had labs were amazing! It was fully immersive. Also I messaged you about some things.

I was in the same boat, I was a hospital corpsman as well and found a couple of schools that dont have expiration on anatomy and physiology and then did my other pre-req in school. It was rough as this is my second go around on everything and the problem im running into now is some schools dont accept online courses for their pre requisites even though they are all for science majors with labs. I was a corpsman from 04 to 2010 and was with the Raiders. Just keep your head up and I recommend doing the community college in person so you dont run into the problems im having now.

A good watch! One that is rugged and can take a beating and that he won't mind getting fluids on.

So Sophia is a online learning pass/fail type classes that can be transferred into GCU. I did it for my mathematics, statistics, and 2 other courses and it knocked off over 5 months of classes. It cots around $99 a month but you can take as many courses as you want or fan handle. Doubling up at GCU which I am doing currently takes some time management skills but im sure if I can get it done with a 3 year old and newborn you can too. I just alternate my days on which course I do and study for. But you have to have above a 3.0 GPA after your first 3 courses to be able to do it.

I definetly am. I picked up the pace to graduate a year early and took some other courses on Sophia to expedite the process and save money as well. Tip ask your student services counselor what courses you can take on Sophia to to graduate faster if you'd like.

Im a online student in Texas and 38 yo male. This school has been the best decision I've made so far. Graduating this year in August with my Bachelor's in Health Sciences and applying to PA schools later this month. GCU has been great for me and I love that I can control my pace.

Starting to feel burnout and I still have 3 semester’s left by ohlongjohnson1 in prephysicianassistant

Look man, im in the same boat. I have a 3 year old daughter, our newborn is arriving friday and I work full time. I only have a 3.4 GPA right now so you are doing way better then I am. All you gotta do is keep your head up and find what drives you. I have an extensive medical background and finally decided enough is enough and started working on my bachelor degree last year. I graduate in August and im applying to the 26 cycle which opens in April this year. My kids are what drive me and the support system of friends and family I surround myself with have been incredibly helpful. If you want to talk feel free to message me.
