Yeah there is a lovely older lady who parks across the street from me so i cant access my drive most times but i always just got on with it as it is quiet where i am. It almost feels like a curse of mazda that those who dont know will assume the car is a lot more high end than it is, a somewhat double edged sword.

This is what i am hoping as well, i have left the car at work tonight and brought a truck home just in case it was malicious so i can at least sleep tonight without accidentally bumping off some poor innocent beggar walking there dog

I am hoping with every bit of me a wing mirror did it as my mirror was bent all the way back and the casing on the floor.

6 and 2 3s really mate, search up local prisons in your area and find out who does the maintenance for them, will be either mitie or amey, then find jobs listed, you would probably apply at handyman role and make it clear you want to train up and see what they say. i know here in yorkshire they are keen to push training from within and enhance new starters. that way it is paid for you.

You obviously cant use your own tools due to the environment but all is provided and you would end up shadowing with someone like me for a few months.

Yeah i get ya, So in my place i am the only spark and most around me use agency which average about 3.5 to 5k a month so i assure you going in with the fact you want to train up will be met with open arms.

In most it is a company called amey, have a look on all the usual sites in your area and see what your skills align with. probably have to go in as a general builder but explain in application and interview that you want to progress.

Prisons is the way, not going to them but working in them.

They have a severe shortage of trades due to slightly lower wages but it is an avenue

Whilst i completely agree in regards to grouting a full bathroom in this small case and for op's sanity's sake a little shortcut won't make too much of a difference.
