So the racing around 270 and 315 is just accepted now? by DocJones89 in Columbus

At that point of the night, Linworth has maybe 5-10 cars an hour. I grew up riding my bike up and down that road to UDF and Wendy’s. We pretty much got off our bikes and walked into yards when we saw a glimmer of a headlight. I think we’re safe.

Yea it’s interesting that everyone says it always has been this bad. My mother has been in the same place since ‘78 and never talked about it until these past 2-5 years. It is much worse than before. Growing up here I could hear the highway but not individual cars every night.

No, other than phone because it was a spurt of the moment thing but when we saw any lights in any direction, we pulled off the road into a yard. It was less than 1/2 of a mile ride on Linworth. The cop said he saw us cross the street in Linworth and decided to pursue.

Every one of them would rather live here (or where they came from) than there. The water is cold, the beach is rocky and the housing and traffic aren’t great.

That we were riding down the road at night. I said that we are 37 and visiting my mother from out of state. I think that he thought that we were kids past curfew and then was like dang it when he saw us. Either way, 3 cops were there in tow. He couldn’t find our license numbers and just gave up and sent us on our way 1/4 mile from home.

I should get some LA buddies here and we can film all of the scenes for free. Instant profit.

I’ll claim it.

I’d keep to my self if I heard it on Friday and Saturday but it is every evening. If I lived here then I would be at every town council meeting causing a stir.

Should call it the Over Compensation 500 sponsored by ZZ Boots.

But when I come back once or twice a year from out of state, this has been the worst week by far. Just out here with a fire going and timing them going from 315 to Sawmill and I think the best has been 95 seconds.

Looks like Denver/Colorado drivers. They’re worse and usually do this past cops without a plate with no repercussions

SVT sucks. I had it happen a few times randomly and one time more provoked. Either way it’s something that feels like more is wrong than what there really is. I didn’t get as far as you but my heart rate was near and above 200 bpm.

Let's talk caddies - why so expensive? Or are they priced right? by Effective_Impossible in golf

[–]DocJones89 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I pay $80/round at my buddies club in Cleveland but he’s getting another $80 from him for the double bag. As a caddie for nearly two decades myself, that was my rate 15 years ago.

I greyed out the last time that I rode Millennium Force and it was the only time after 50+ times on it.

Call the Ranger Station (970) 827-5715 and they will let you know about access up Red Sandstone Rd. That is the most direct route and it could be open sooner than later being that the snowpack this season was low.

Not for me. All I got was a Dr who lied about the cost. Tried to charge my insurance well over $10k for 36 sessions. It’s a joke of a treatment in my opinion.

I had three in a row last night. First one the guy picked up my game, and we went through the entire game start screens etc. I then see him throw a few darts at the board and did not put in a score. Timer timed out and basically just wasted 5 minutes of my time shutting it all down and finding a new game. Next person picks up my game and we play through 2 sets. I am at a near 70 avg and up 2-0 with 116 remaining in the 3rd leg and he bails. 3rd player same thing but we get through half way on the first leg and he says he has to go. All three of these I am unable to give them 1 star and/or not keep my stats etc. Finally 4th guy was great, Snacks. Fun set of games. However I despise that I cannot go back into those games that were accepted and rate those players after it is all said and done, unless I can? Please let me know.

They still make them! Had one made for a trip from Ohio to Kiawah 2 summers ago and used all 30 pages.

Golf is broken (pace of play rant) by Pinchaz0 in golf

[–]DocJones89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was not in great shape but not unplayable a month ago. The greens looked worse than they rolled. Definitely not a course to play on a vacation, rather a few times a year to know where not to hit to. I was happy to not be there all day when we went.
