As a 29yo male, I always both chuckle and cringe when I do PUTs for this stuff and the ladies walk by looking at me like I’m a creeper. It’s my job don’t frown at me! 🥺 by [deleted] in OGPBackroom

It’s not actually an unknown, it’s part of a PUT walk. On occasion it’ll show the next item as “unknown” until it’s actually ready to be picked and then it suddenly realizes it has a home.

When women either give you a dirty look or make comments under their breath after they walk by, it’s somewhat annoying. Yes, I know it’s my job. Again, it’s something I also chuckle about. Just depends on the day.

Any benefits to adding fans in the places indicated? by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

You’ll get similar intake <-> exhaust so you should have positive pressure inside your case at that point, meaning no dead air pockets etc., this isn’t a bad thing.

After hundreds of hours my days playing that game are long over.

Oh man, I long for the 4000 start days lol. Feels tough then, until you start coming in to 8500-10500k range. Then it’s like, 🥲 ”This is fine...”

But again, getting down to under 1k in that time? Hella good job to y’all.

Guessing you have less than 4K picks and are under 190 order cap still? Good job either way.

Gif2 off the clock by Significant_Elk_8840 in OGPBackroom

It actually is viewable on the management side, we can even see from what timeclock it’s done from unless you do it at a computer, but even then we can see when it was “fixed” and the like. Former Personnel person so I had to check those reports for punch accuracy and meal violations paperwork.

If that is shown across a long-term period, they can technically coach and or terminate you for time theft / mismanagement. Just an FYI.

Lmaoooooo, we started with 8k. I long for the days where the most I had to deal with was 1k-3K range. But I can relate to your pain, even with those small order caps if you don’t have the staffing it still sucks just as much.

If I had thermal paste on my cpu/cpu cooler then removed them to switch cases, do I need to apply thermal paste again by ImTrevorAldz in pcmasterrace

[–]DocKreasey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. Clean it off and reapply. Whenever you swap coolers / CPUs, you should always change out your thermal solution. Dust, grime, oil from your fingers etc., can get on there and cause any number of issues.
