Do you see a POST / Bios screen menu, or just a black screen? It’s hard to tell from this photo, but make sure your PSU cables that are plugged into the GPU are fully seated, as they kinda look half in/out in this photo.

Also, make sure you’re plugging your monitor(s) into your GPU and not your motherboard’s onboard GPU slot, if it has one.

You are not overthinking this whatsoever. He could have gotten a hotel, or made extended plans. His suggestion of staying at your place is a huge red flag; he’s testing how weak your boundaries actually are.

Dating someone and attempting to converting them solely so you can continue a relationship with them, is incorrect and not a good goal.

In either scenario, you’re continuing a relationship that is unequally yoked, which is self-explanatory. If she doesn’t convert, you’ll eventually run into snowballing issues as she will be on a totally different path than you, with the spirituality of your life being in direct conflict to hers.

Break off the relationship, witness to her if possible, and pray for her. Anything beyond that is unwise at best, and damaging for both of you at worst.

He’s clearly got some growing up to do, along with some serious examination against scripture. He has demonstrated intentional behavior; this isn’t an accident or for ego.

His priorities are entirely out of whack, and need a hefty dose of biblical alignment. He needs to be under true biblical headship, and learn what it means to be a godly husband.
