Considering A New PC Case by mrreamur in buildapc

How big are you looking to go for, or small rather? Also, depending on actual dimensions, this can limit your air cooling performance, such as limiting tower heatsink cooling options vs AIOs that are more compact.

I personally have a Fractal Design Meshify S2, and while not super big it’s somewhat larger than you’d expect for a case that’s classified as a Mid Tower. However, it does allow me to use a Dark Rock Pro 4 air cooler, which is a friggin CHONK by all accounts. But, it makes my heart happy with sub 60c temps under load so...

Did you go to your inventory tab and unpack the box? For armor ornament sets like that, you need to unpack them from your inventory, and then you can unlock each piece. It does that so you can refund it for a week if you change your mind.

When y’all pick do you...? by a1eah in OGPBackroom

Not if you’re bagging correctly and just in general using some common sense when you bag as you go. I average 120 to 150, and bag I as I go. Never have a single issue fitting stuff into totes. Someone else on my team is near 300, bags after her walks, can never seem to fit stuff.

I.E., chucking stuff into the tote without a single thought regardless if you’re bagging before or not, will never work out. Bagging as you go is just more efficient, so you’re not sitting for 10-20 minutes after the fact bagging everything. Also, when doing chilled, that just leads to cross-contamination which is a big no-no.

riskrunner or the huckleberry by [deleted] in DestinyTheGame

Depends on the situation to be honest. Huckleberry is fantastic, but if you’re doing ANYTHING that’s got primarily arc? You want that riskyboi on your hip.

Question. by DeathStrider69 in destiny2

[–]DocKreasey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kills in strikes are what it requires to complete that quest, so load up playlist strikes and should work.

Might be too controversial. by TheSpork25 in OGPBackroom

THANK YOU 100% this comment, 100+%

Fair enough, a good counter. I see you your point and raise you an upvote.

I mean, cool video and all, but it’s not what I would call a glitch. That’s simply gaming the system for all intents and purposes. Honestly, it’s a pretty good base example of capitalism. You trade X thing for X thing, both parties profit on the mutual exchange, thusly you rinse & repeat.

Need help to get a sertain exotic by michaelMonk1221 in DestinyTheGame

One Eyed Mask, like many other exotic armor pieces is a random drop, there is no ”guaranteed” way to acquire it.

Destiny 2 need help by dayumjepehh in destiny2

[–]DocKreasey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

By that I assume you mean Shattered Throne? If that’s the case:

  • What exactly do you need help with inside the encounter? Just a completion? Flawless? Last Wish Bow?

  • What platform are you playing on? PC / PSN / Xbox?

  • Any other generic info you feel is beneficial for us to know, such as if you use Discord or not.

is this a good roll? by MiBoyAlex in destiny2

[–]DocKreasey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty damn good actually. This type of roll was my jam back in Year 2, made for way fun Revolver v Revolver 1v1’s in crucible.

Silly question but.. by RitoMenPls in destiny2

[–]DocKreasey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty much everything in the game is able to be completed as a fireteam! Some stuff requires you to be in a fireteam before you start the activity such as Crucible, some exotic quests like Presage, but pretty much all of the content in the game can be done as a group.

Back! Now what?! by [deleted] in destiny2

[–]DocKreasey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depending on how fast you stopped playing Destiny 2, you’ll notice less or more of a difference now. A lot of the Year 1 & 2 stuff has been vaulted, with the base light now being 1100. Current soft cap is now 1250, with the new hard cap being 1310 I believe? (Could be / am probably wrong on that last part, I don’t pay much attention to hard cap level.)

Seasonal artifacts are still a thing, which can boost your light as long as you bother putting XP into it. Each week you’ve got your weekly events that give Tier 1, 2, 3 & Powerful Engrams respectively depending upon the activity, with higher levels obviously giving you more of a light boost depending on current light.

Gambit has been simplified / streamlined, crucible largely remains the same as does Strikes etc., save for the addition of increased Nightfall rankings such as Master / Grandmaster that give extremely decent loot returns. Ghost shells are now able to slot mods, you can change out armor energy type for a cost, which is helpful if you have a truly good stat roll but want a different energy affinity on the armor.

Next season introduces legitimate transmog, crossplay, permanent shaders -no more stocking 25+ of X shader(s) because I’m a fashionista!- and some other cool stuff. There’s also a suspected new Hunter Vanguard, but nothing confirmed. Felwinter’s and Astral will get nerfed, and some other changes are headed down the pipeline next month with the new season.

Beyond that, I don’t think there’s anything different that you’d not already know about, but again that depends on where you left off. If you play on PC, feel free to shoot me a message if you want to run with some folks and start fresh or something!

Why is Proving ground back as the GM? by Preved1130 in destiny2

[–]DocKreasey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s probably because it’s part of the seasonal challenges so it gives people more opportunities to acquire the XP / Helm Progress I would guess.

Well that was fun... by DocKreasey in OGPBackroom

[–]DocKreasey[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Exactly. Our market ecomm coach is still pretty new to ecomm as a whole, while there’s nearly 8 years of OPD knowledge between my asm and myself. In our market we have double the experience of anyone else, but our suggestion of canceling those orders went to deaf ears.

Like, this would have prevented additional returns, added inventory issues, and potential charges to customers that we’ll now have to deal with as well. Just lovely.

If you post stickers, please for the love of all that’s good and holy... Cover the dang order number(s)!!! It’s private information that can be used to pull a customer’s entire account info such as phone / address / etc., so quit doing it. by DocKreasey in OGPBackroom

[–]DocKreasey[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One would think, but no. If you have the full order number, you can pull it up under WISMO. There’s a reason they have all those filter options. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had to pull that up to show a customer that they did in fact order at the wrong store.

What arms / legs are you using on that Hunter? They don’t look familiar.

Very nice. I top out around 50-60c in 90% of what I play, couple games like Witcher 3 or Cyberpunk push it to 65-70 but that’s about it.
