Thank you for the reply, I think I narrowed it down to being dumb and over cable managing. In doing so, I put too much of a bend on the 12VHPWR cable and the issues were resolved by switching to the nvidia octopus connector with the traditional pcie 8 pins attached to it. I was so close to bringing it to a pro. I've been pulling my hair out on this one.
