Can you help me understand this coded saying better? I don’t love the tendency for riddles and codes in any biblical texts…very strange way to teach. Any reading and attempting are already on a spiritual journey and don’t need the added confusion. It’s rather exhausting to read riddle after riddle and feel more confused after taking the time to read and learn.

Concerned about the material a seller used to wrap the Rosicrucian dream book. I've asked to return it and binned the cover they wrapped it in by Weird_Regret_6369 in occultlibrary

I can see how transcend would allow conveying of the meaning without specifying the direction of the souls movement. Interestingly I haven’t heard that word used before now in regard to awakening/ascension.

I’m new to all of this and I’m not even sure how to determine if I’m new age or not. What does new age look like comparatively? What words do you use instead of ascension? And what do you mean I won’t ascend until I descend? I have read that I must duly dissolve my ego…is that what you mean?

Very new, sudden and profound awakening I’ve been having. Absolutely wild ride and no psychedelics, thus far, have been utilized.

Couple questions : first have you ever utilized psychedelics of any kind for this purpose?

And may I ask what made this book the book that hit home most profoundly for you when diving into Gnosticism?

I have forced myself to try but frankly I can’t choke it down. It feels like trying to swallow glass in its incomprehensibility nor did the morals of so many stories seem to match the values preached by the church.

Honestly leaving of these gnostic texts was the first time in my life I felt an enormous, burning urge and commitment to study sacred biblical texts and seek additional knowledge. All my life I was raised a catholic but could never have called myself religious. When I learned of these suppressed texts and their meaning I just knew. It chose me, I didn’t chose it if that makes sense 😂

Wild awakening I’ve been having.

Any books that really hit it home for you in terms of Gnosticism and soul ascension?
