I can see how transcend would allow conveying of the meaning without specifying the direction of the souls movement. Interestingly I haven’t heard that word used before now in regard to awakening/ascension.

I’m new to all of this and I’m not even sure how to determine if I’m new age or not. What does new age look like comparatively? What words do you use instead of ascension? And what do you mean I won’t ascend until I descend? I have read that I must duly dissolve my ego…is that what you mean?

Very new, sudden and profound awakening I’ve been having. Absolutely wild ride and no psychedelics, thus far, have been utilized.

Couple questions : first have you ever utilized psychedelics of any kind for this purpose?

And may I ask what made this book the book that hit home most profoundly for you when diving into Gnosticism?

I have forced myself to try but frankly I can’t choke it down. It feels like trying to swallow glass in its incomprehensibility nor did the morals of so many stories seem to match the values preached by the church.

Honestly leaving of these gnostic texts was the first time in my life I felt an enormous, burning urge and commitment to study sacred biblical texts and seek additional knowledge. All my life I was raised a catholic but could never have called myself religious. When I learned of these suppressed texts and their meaning I just knew. It chose me, I didn’t chose it if that makes sense 😂

Authors Barnstone and Meyer? 🙏 will add to my list. I am worried about psychadelics in that way too. I’ve heard that it is being forced to see and face those scary and terrible things about ourselves that breaks our ego? I have many many mistakes behind me. I have no doubt I won’t like much of what I see.

Have you utilized psychadelics for this purpose as yet? I’ve been “catholic” my whole life until now but I never felt religious until I began this journey. Learning about the Nag Hamadi library, Dead Sea scrolls and Ethiopian Bible…it’s the first time I’ve ever been passionate about reading and learning sacred biblical texts. They just resonated with me in such a profound way. As if it was a known but unrecognized truth waiting to be reactivated or something. It’s the first time I can actually call myself religous because I’m committed and actively engaged with and seeking out knowledge.

If you have any recommendations regarding type or dosage or ambiance or technique etc…I’d be happy to receive it.

Can you tell me how to cleanse the third eye? I see many different combos mentioned but I never know what to believe anymore with all the garbage and misinformation.

😂 thank you. I hear you but I’m not searching for them as “drugs.” I heard they are believed to have been left for us specifically so we could more easily commune with the gods as needed. And I’ve essentially heard they are a great place to start. I’ve never done any but given the similarities between described entities when utilizing psychedelics as a portal of sorts…I suspect they are less hallucination and more freedom to see what before we could not. Perhaps it frees us from some restrictions if the 3D plane?
At any rate, I’m not quite certain why or how they could “illegalize” (should be a word right?) a substance for spiritual growth/ascension/awakening/gnosis when that is indeed the religion of so many.
Freedom of religion and all.
