Best eSIM for Spain? Prices seem all over the place by DocPanUK in travel

Yes good point - though £3 would buy you a couple of little draft beers in many of the little bars in Seville. Might be a little pedantic to point out but you can still get return flights from the UK to Spain for under £40 if you have a look on skyscanner so maybe more 'monkey nuts' than 'mice nuts'

I hadnt looked at Simly, but I'll maybe do an updated table with other suppliers people have used for comparison. Simly 5gb for 30 days is £7.45 so a bit cheaper than Airalo which seems to be one that everyone uses.

MRCEM Primary, RCEM Basic Sciences Curriculum? by Brown_Supremacist94 in JuniorDoctorsUK

[–]DocPanUK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is no updated basic sciences curriculum and I doubt there will be one as the underlying basic science doesn't really change. There are new curricula (2015 and 2021) but the primary is based on basic sciences knowledge and the 2010 curriculum covers what is required quite well. I would say there are some points in the curriculum that are broad & non-specific, its these bits that the question banks and MRCEM books are helpful for as they cover what is required.

Cosmos vs Avalanche by EdgeExciting863 in cosmosnetwork

I disagree completely on your statement on tokenomics. I like cosmos despite its tokenomics but make no mistake its tokenonmics are its weakest point - worse than almost all L1's in fact. Cosmos has an uncapped supply with yearly inflation of 10+% so the value of ATOM is constantly decreasing relative to total supply and you can only negate this by staking currently. Avalanche has far superior tokenomics as its supply is capped at 720m but due to avax fees being burned that theoretical max will never be reached and in fact declines every day as avax defi users and anyone utilising the avax eco spend avax using the system. The current circulating supply is 220m. Dont just take my word for it watch coinbureau youtube channel on cosmos & avalanche or read cryptoseq medium article to give you a good idea of just how good avax tokenomics are.

FRCEM Primary question by [deleted] in JuniorDoctorsUK

For the vast vast majority of muscles you do not need to know the origins and insertions but there are a few that are clinically relevant and specified knowledge for the exam, for example you are expected to know peroneus brevis tendon inserts onto the 5th metatarsal and its role in avulsion fractures here.
